Inventory levels have now gotten under control (actually low) which will help to level our market place and hopefully bring back some appreciation. We need to continue to watch the distress sales and the rate at which the banks are releasing their inventory to really know if we have bottomed or if more pain has yet to come. Properties at $150,000 and less can sell within days. Anything over $250,000 is a much longer market.
ZIP Code: 86314 Location Characteristics: Prescott Valley sits at 5,100 feet, occupying a spectacular valley between the Bradshaw and Mingus Mountains. Wide open spaces and clean mountain air envelop smart growth and a commitment to positive progress. Our family-oriented community boasts a lifestyle of cultural, recreational and educational activities, a low crime rate and superior public service. We offer comfortable neighborhoods with affordable housing and modern infrastructure, an abundance of community parks and more than 50 places of worship. Additionally we are just ten minutes away from historic Prescott, the county seat. With all it has going for it, no wonder Prescott Valley is often ranked among the top places to live in all of America.
We enjoy a mild year-round climate with four distinct and equally pleasant seasons. Just an hour's drive (and at least 15 degrees cooler!) from the metropolis of Phoenix and its deserts and lakes, and a little more than an hour from Flagstaff (and at least 15 degrees warmer!) and its snow-capped mountains and ski slopes, Prescott Valley is perfectly positioned to access most any area of the State.
About Joe Karcie:
I have the unique distinction of being Prescott’s only known 3rd generation Realtor® as my grandfather, Jim Thomas, was a founding member of the Prescott Area Association of Realtors and was the Broker /Owner of the original “Brokerage House” on Whiskey Row”. And my mother, Laurie Grafman, was a founding member of The Grafman Family Team in 1994, which has evolved into the Joe Karcie Team. Many agents think their most important job is to satisfy the customer. I don't think that’s true. I believe that satisfying the customer is simply the minimum requirement for staying in business. Myself and my staff work constantly to improve our systems and services to well beyond the standard level of service provided by most agents, including our extensive Internet Presence, and the most sophisticated and reliable information systems to communicate with and provide useful information to buyers anywhere on a 24/7 basis. Whether you are buying or selling, my team will always go the extra mile to help you achieve your goals. "Whatever It Takes"
