Sales in Tempe were up 5% vs 2007 for December 2008 ( -27% YTD) as the market appears to be turning the corner! If you are "thinking" about buying a home now may be the perfect time with rates still at historical lows, prices are down and supply up. . There are currently around 997 homes and condo's for sale in Tempe, which is roughly a 9.9 months' supply. The average cummulative days a home stays on the market before it sells is now 135 (last year it was 115 days). Total 2007 sales dropped 22% vs 2006.
