Approximate Location Boundaries: Located on the San Francisco Peninsula south of the city of Millbrae and north of the city of San Mateo in central San Mateo County

Location Characteristics: Burlingame is a city located in central San Mateo County, as of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 28,158.
Upper and upper middle class homes and neighborhoods. Many homes have views and the area known for many fine schools. It is also known as the 'City of Trees' due to the amount of trees within the city (18,000 public trees). Most residential properties have trees owned and protected by the city on their public right of way. In addition the city has many parks and Eucalyptus groves that add to the overall tree numbers.
San Francisco Airport is nearby and about a 20 minuite drive to San Francisco.
