ZIP Code: 95630 Location Characteristics: Often referred to as the gateway to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Folsom is located 20 miles east of Sacramento and a little more than an hour's drive to majestic Lake Tahoe. With its historic Gold Rush past and its growing technological future, Folsom is a terrific place to live, work and raise a family.
The Folsom economy is strong and vibrant including many high-tech companies, business parks and retail stores developing throughout the city. Our newly added light rail system makes for an easy commute to Sacramento, however many residents have come to enjoy exciting and fulfilling careers right here in town.
Families love the community's attractive homes, exceptional school system, inviting churches and variety of family-friendly activities. A temperate climate also provides virtually year-round boating and rafting opportunities at Folsom Lake, Lake Natoma, and the American River as well as biking, hiking, horseback riding and picnicking on the magnificent trails that meander around them. There are two major areas in Folsom. One is Broadstone which is a 1,600 acre development near Highway 50. Broadstone is unique in that it was completely developed by Elliott Homes, Inc. Broadstone consists of single family homes, apartments, office, and retail centers. It is also home to the Broadstone Racquet Club which is a private, membership facility with court sports, swimming, exercise rooms and children and infants play area. The Broadstone villages were built to appeal to first time homebuyers as well as move-up buyers with a wide range of sales prices.
The other is American River Canyon which is located off Oak Avenue Parkway on the other side of the American River from Old Town Folsom. Homes in American River Canyon were built by numerous builders from the early 1980's to custom homes built currently on custom lots. Nearly all of the homes in this area are good to very good quality custom homes on well-landscaped lots.
About Anna Boyd :
Helping my clients with their plans and dreams for the future is what I love most about my work. What is important to you, becomes important to me.
Yes, I've earned awards, Re/Max Hall of Fame 2007, Top 1% of Re/Max Gold Agents, RE/MAX Platinum Club (top 10%), El Dorado Lifetime Top Achievers, but those are not my true rewards. My rewards are the great people I meet in my work, and the referrals I get from past and present clients who trust me to do a good job for their friends, family, associates - and I thank them.
