Location Characteristics: Welcome to San Jose a town spread over 178 square miles and more than 3 times the size of San Francisco. San Jose has several "neighborhoods" like the Rose Garden, Willow Glen, Cambrian, West San Jose, Almaden and Evergreen neighborhoods to name a few. The downtown area has grown into a lovely vibrant city with music theater, dance and Broadways shows! There are wonderful restaurants downtown and the new city Hall is a sight to behold!The airport is located right in the city, but forbids planes to take off after 11PM.
