Since the location of these two towns are so terrific...close to the beaches, the bay, and both Sarasota and Venice, this area is experiencing redevelopment. It's definitely an area that is up and coming and something you should consider when purchasing in this area. Osprey will have a new Bay point park for the residents to enjoy as well as a new, exciting, mixed use community called Bay Street Village. Nokomis is growing, too. There are two new major hotels slated to come to Nokomis in the next couple of years. Both of these towns have an organized committee that monitors its growth to make sure structures fall within the guidelines set forth by the community for beautification.
