As of today, June 16, 2009, homes are selling again, if they are priced right for this market. With interest rates still low, and coming down, and home prices having dropped considerably, buyers are starting to think that this may be the right time to buy. In fact, I see multiple offers on some listings. Although i don't see home prices increasing over the short term, because of the oversupply on the market, I do feel that the bottom has already arrived and we are starting to eat into our oversupply.

The year 2,000 census showed a population of 38,055 but it has grown considerably in the last 5 years and is continuing to do so. Since the eastern boundry of the city is the Intracoastal Waterway, boating is also a popular pastime with the residents. The upscale Gardens Mall is a favorite for shoppers from all over the area and much of the new commercial develpment is attracting upscale businesses from the city of Palm Beach as well as the nation. The New York Times has called it the South Beach of the North. The city is located 70 miles north of Miami and the Palm Beach International Airport is only 7 miles away.
