Internet activity is showing an increase in people interested in moving to the Carmel area in early 2011. History shows the most searches are in January, so if you are listening to the "old" real estate plan of listing in the Spring you are going to miss the peak of the internet searches. 75 to 80% of all people begin their searches on the internet today. Some of my clients are listing now and in February to take advantage of the internet marketing. Listing now is going to increase your chances of closing your sale sooner for a better return. Homes are selling within 5% of the listing price with 30 to 90 days on the market. Carmel prices have been stable.
