The Storm Lake Iowa area residential market is changing fast with the warmer weather. New listings are increasing as are the number of buyers looking.
A look at 2010 1st Quarter numbers compared to 2011 numbers shows a strong trend. First Quarter 2011 showed 23 new listings, 2011 had 37, 12 new pending properties this year and 29 last year, 5 properties sold and 19 sold in 2010. Price and days on market are showing the same trends 2011 average price was $115,100 compared to $133,827 for same time 2010. Median price for 2011 was $80,000 and $105,000 for 2010.
