I would count Baltimore as one of the best areas to get a BANG for your BUCK!

Many people actually are working in Washington D.C. but living in Baltimore. This may seem to be a difficult commute, but I truly believe this is the smartest choice! If you do decide to Live in Baltimore and work in D.C., one can save at least $100,000 (MINIMUM) on the cost of the home, and the commute is only about 45 minutes! If you ask me, I think the prices of D.C. real estate do not translate to a fair purchase. It just does not translate to a fair DEAL!
That being said; welcome to Baltimore! Baltimore is full of charm, art, food, shopping, dining, hiking, urban life, rural beauty, older communities, newer neighborhoods, wonderful schools...Baltimore has it all and I really would not live ANYwhere else.
When buyers come to me and ask where my favorite areas are in Maryland, I tend to recomend Roland Park, Mt. Vernon, Charles Village, Canton, Fells Point and Columbia. I have many reasons for these suggestions and I would be happy to talk about them with you.

Looking in Baltimore? Lets get started!

ZIP Codes: 21227, 21013, 21204, 21207, 21208, 21219, 21220, 21221, 21222, 21227, 21228, 21234, 21236, 21201, 21202, 21203, 21205, 21206, 21209, 21210, 21211, 21212, 21213, 21214, 21215, 21216, 21217, 21218, 21223, 21224, 21229, 21230, 21231, 21233, 21235, 21239, 21240, 21241, 21250, 21251, 21252, 21263, 21264, 21265, 21268, 21270, 21273, 21274, 21275, 21278, 21279, 21280, 21281, 21282, 21283, 21284, 21285, 21287, 21288, 21289, 21290, 21297, 21298

Location Characteristics: Baltimore is a City rich in charm, artistic vision and SEAFOOD. Baltimore has the perks of neighborhoods full of diversity and with asking prices well below the marks of neighboring Washington D.C. Baltimore, in fact, is the smart choice for professionals who work in the Capitol Metro area but refuse to overpay for housing. Work in Baltimore OR D.C. BUT ALWAYS choose Maryland for its VALUE!

From the heart of Baltimore, one can access Annapolis in as little as 20 minutes, BWI Airport is less than 10 minutes south. Washington D.C. is 40-50 Minutes. Philly is about 90 minutes and New York City is about 3 hours. For these driving times one can clearly appreciate the location of the beautiful Harbor City of Baltimore.

Nightlife is centered around Baltimore City. Fells Point is the most well known 'Bar scene' with about 30 bars in a 4 block radius! Wow. Canton is next to Fells with a more 'on the water' feel. Federal Hill features more of an industrial feel and of course ...more bars.

Some of the Major surrounding Cities are Towson, Pikesville, Hunt Valley, Timonium, Essex, White Marsh, Loch Raven, Greenspring & Worthington Valleys, Owings Mills, Westminster, Glyndon, Catonsville, Arbutus, Windsor Mill, Randallstown; all of them in Baltimore County.

I call Baltimore County home for a reason; I love it here. Baltimore is a city I know well and I know where to find the great deals.

Within recent years the words 'FORECLOSURE' and 'SHORT SALE' have become synonomous with 'DEAL!' Like every area of the United States, Maryland (including Baltimore,) has a constantly updated list of Foreclosures, Short Sales and other 'financially distressed' properties. This list of incredible opportunities can be catered to exactly what YOU are looking for, and these deals can be sent directly to your email...as SOON as they hit the market. Please let me know if I can assist!

Baltimore is HOT, the deals are HERE. I think that Baltimore has the best deals in the entire state of Maryland. Let's start looking.
