The fourth quarter of 2011 brought signs of life to the real estate market. Buyers began making offers and things are now moving. Our inventory is clearing out, however, the spring market will bring an increase in listings. We are still experiencing quite a bit of turbulance at this time. It is a buyer's market more than normal inventory. There are quite a few Bank Owned (REO's) and Short Sales in this market, approximately 25% of inventory. Rates are at historic lows and so it's a great time to buy. Sellers that are priced right, look good and are positioned well, will SELL!
