Location Characteristics: Sleepy Hollow is a small Hudson River village comprised of very diverse and lovely neighborhoods, such as Philipse Manor and Sleepy Hollow Manor for example. Tree lined Beekman Avenue leads down to the Hudson River shore and the latest townhome development of "Ichabod's Landing". Many stores and restaurants can be found along it. It's flavor is very similar to Tarrytown and boasts a wide range of housing options. Another large river front development is in the planning stage. It will bring more residental, recreational and retail space to the river. A small hotel is also planned as well as recreational areas, sports fields, tennis courts, playgrounds and a river walk.
