During the first half of 2009 in this neighborhood sales were averaging 4-5 per month, and they have picked up to 9 a month. Overall inventory of active listings in this area is still high relative to the sales per month at 140 active listings. The average price per square foot sold has been pretty steady at $161 for months.

Approximate Location Boundaries: The Cotswold area centers around the intersection of Sharon Amity and Randolph Roads.

Location Characteristics: This older, close-in area is made up of homes build mostly in the 1950's although there are some condomium and townhome complexes of varying ages. It also is the home to some teardown activity. The Cotswold shopping center is at this main intersection and in addition to a Harris Teeter Grocery Store, there are a number of retail establishments and a variety of restaurants.
