The Catawba Valley Association of REALTORs™ data for our four county area's Non-Foreclosure Properties indicates a rise in sales volume for the first 11 weeks of 2012 relative to 2011.
For Maiden, however there was a 66.67 % decrease in volume. 2012 sales have been 1 vs. for the same period last year, 3. This is a bit of a surprise as Maiden was once a much stronger market.
Median Price for that sale is up 46.04 % and was $147,500.
Given current active listings of 25 , Maiden has approximately 63.47 Months of Inventory available. Like most areas in the country, Catawba Valley is a Buyer's Market.

You can take Hwy 150 east to Lake Norman, or other routes to the area's six lakes
