Transaction volume in Newport County is up nearly 5% over last year and has steadily gained since the dark days of 2008. Significant job creation in the area is the main reason for our uptick but the high end and ultra high end is very strong as well.
The pending sales or contracts per day are still very strong at this time of year - indicating steady stream of demand. We are still critically oversupplied, but the deals are happening again!
