During the month of May, 2009 there were 104 new residential listings in and around the Rapid City area as compared to 73 last month. The total # of homes for sale is 416 as compared to 359 last month, which reflects single family homes only. And 61 homes have sold or are under contract as compared to 48 homes last month. Avg. price of a home in the Black Hills is $194,556 as compared to $182,555 last month with an average of 85 days on the market as compared to 95 last month. Sellers have been receiving 96.51% of their asking price as compared to 95.75%last month.
