College Station, TX is still building. New roads, Over passes, subdivisions, rental properties are still being built. This time of year sales are holding true to form. September through December is typically slower than the rest of the year. Realtors are not as busy. College Station, TX and the Texas A&M University area is an active and viable place to invest with over 50,000 students. The purchase of investment properties are still cash flowing here.Parents of students can take advantage of low prices for housing and sell at a profit when their kids leave TAMU. Rent on a 3 bed 2 bath single family house or a 3 bed 3 bath duplex is approximately $1200 to $1600 per month. Rooms lease for $400 to $600 each. Why rent when you can purchase and let the roommates make the mortgage payments?

Houses are selling for much less per square foot this season than last.

The new Scott and White Hospital is being constructed right now on the corner of Rock Prairie and the High Way 6 By Pass. Michelle goes by 'Myke' and is the proud mother of 6 children - 3 girls and 3 boys. Her husband is David Leatham. They met at Brigham Young University. They have been married since 1977. David is a finance professor, and Associate Head over graduate studies in the Agricultural Economics Department at Texas A&M University, and speaks fluent Spanish. They have lived in College Station since 1983 and loved every minute of it. Myke loves to quilt, sing, swim, 'sing', bake bread, 'sing,' garden, 'sing', sell real estate, and 'sing some more' :-). Directions to Myke's office: From Highway 6, exit either Rock Prairie, North Graham, or Highway 40 going West. When you get to Wellborn Rd, turn left to Capstone and turn right crossing over the rail road tracks. At the first stop sign you will turn right onto IGN Rd., and then turn right at the black mail box (13464 IGN Rd.) into the first driveway over the culvert. You will see a large house on the left that looks like a castle, and a barn on the right. The house on the left is Myke's home office. Follow the white rock circular driveway to the front door. Office hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
