First half of 2008 is histroy!!! More homes on the market, More homes sold at higher sales price with more average days on the market (49) days up 17%. Sounds like the market in Grapevine is doing much better than the current norm. We begin August with 170 homes on the market, up 8% compared to the same time period in 2007. Through July 330 homes sold, down 1% with the average sales price of $254.335, up 6%. The total dollar volume through July $83,930,550, up 5%.
570 homes were sold in 2007, a decrease of 14% over the same period in 2006. The average sales price of $240,200, an increase of 5%. The total dollar volume spend in Grapevine on residential real estate in 2007 was $136,914,000. The best indicator of the market is Average Days on the Market; the DOM was 45 days, up 5% from 2006. With existing homes and new construction, the choice of homes available will delight new buyers. Come grow with us!!
