2008 - YEAR TO DATE Sales Report - Uptown, Turtle Creek, State Thomas & Oak Lawn Condominium & Townhome Sales

We are certainly experiencing a real estate market far different from a year ago! While there is a definite decrease in the number of sales, the average sales price remains higher than the same time last year. With continued high gas prices and long commutes, this area of Dallas is very attractive to those working the downtown area.

The question for buyers is ---- WHY WAIT? With interest rates remaining low and a large inventory, we are definitely in a buyer's market. Local interests have begun an informational campaign to inform Dallas buyers and sellers about the good news in our market. My site does not support hyperlinks, however, for more information you may want to visit www.dfwhousingfacts.org. This site is full of interesting facts about our local economy and our local housing market.

About Sue Krider:
Sue Krider specializes in the listing and sales of luxury condominiums and homes in Dallas, TX. Specifically, Turtle Creek, Uptown Dallas, Downtown Dallas, Highland Park and Las Colinas luxury condominiums and homes.

As a condominium owner (and former single family home owner in a Las Colinas golf course community) Sue understands the difference between condominium and townhome/single family home ownership. "I can sit down with prospective buyers and discuss with them the differences between owning a single family home vs. a condominium -- the values and benefits inherent in each." Having worked with many clients transitioning from a large home or estate to an urban, luxury condominium is labor intensive, but extremely rewarding. At the end of the day, I want my clients to say “that was the best decision I ever made.”
