As we head into the new year market prices continue to be low. Next year should bring a little more stabilization in the market values but foreclosures and short sales will still continue to keep prices from increasing substantially. The demand for home purchasing is still abundant but the financial problems of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac plus government involvement appear to have placed a damper on qualified buyers obtaining mortgages.
