Good news on the housing market. According to the National Association of Realtors®.Sales of existing homes showed another gain in May, benefiting from favorable affordability conditions and a first-time buyer tax credit, May's increase was the first back-to-back monthly gain since September 2005.
The Cheyenne Multiple Listing Service recently came out the their Residential Statistics for May 2009 According to their figures there were 745 active listing,291 homes were pending 114 homes were sold. The average list price was $184,071, Average sold price was $180,217 and average Days on Market (DOM) was 90.
Compare that to the Cheyenne Multiple Listing Service for Mayl 2008. According to their figures there were 895 active listing,201 homes were pending 142 homes were sold. The average list price was $202,168, Average sold price was $198,888 and average Days on Market (DOM) was 204.
