The Cheyenne home inventory has been reduced over the past three months due to brisk sales from the under $200,000 market. With 68% and 74% of all sales occurring being homes under $200,000 during the months of September and October respectively. The upper end of the market continues to be slow with no sales of home exceeding $400,000 in the past two months.
It truly is a great time to buy a new home with low interest rates, good inventory to choose from, and a anxious group of sellers to negotiate with. It is an especially good time if you are a move up buyer. With your lesser price home being in demand and the upper end being soft.

Location Characteristics: Cheyenne is a uniquely located city at the intersection of I-25 and I-80. Our 60,000 population and the regional center nature of the community, provides a small town feel with the many opportunites of a larger metropolitan area. Its location also in close proximity to Denver, CO and to the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Cheyenne is the state capitol and home ot Warren Air Force Base. These two institutions provide stability to the community's economy. Once you live in Cheyenne, you will find it to be an excellent home and you won't want to leave.
