The Percentages in the chart above refer to the percentage of total sales for the month. Example: in August 2009 homes priced under $399,999 represent 93 % of the total sales in August 2009 (7,076 total sales).
The chart below illustrates what price ranges are moving based on days inventory by price range…this is from the Cromford Report: As of 9/04/09, there are 11,154 Single Family Homes PENDING!!! And a total of 12,539 total properties Pending in the MLS!

The Number of Sales are still slowing however notice the increase in the number of short sales…which have been trending up since January of this year in correlation to the trending down of REO sales.
