Sales in Scottsdale were down 23% vs 2007 for May 2008 ( - 29% YTD) as the market continues to struggle. If you are "thinking" about buying a home now may be the perfect time with rates still at historical lows, prices are down and supply way up. . There are currently around 5873 homes and condo's for sale in Scottsdale, which is roughly a 12.9 months' supply. The average cummulative days a home stays on the market before it sells is now 176 (last year it was 130 days). Total 2007 sales dropped 22% vs 2006. I could overwhelm you with statistics, yet it all boils down to "It's a Buyer's Market". . . and I love working with buyers, , .
