Location Characteristics: Pemberton is located in the beautiful Pemberton Valley, just minutes north of Whistler. Mount Currie is on one side of the valley and the other side is where the Ipsuit glacier is located. The town has a variety of houses, farms with acreage, condos and commercial opportunities. There is an elementary and secondary school in the town. Pemberton has a small airport and two golf courses. Pemberton is known as the Seed Potato Capital for North America and produces the seed potatoes for many North American regions. Mount Currie, located a few kilometres from Pemberton is the home of our local Lilwat Nation. There are some small shops, restaurants and a cultural centre that are located in the area.
