About John Kowalchuk:
John Kowalchuk has always had a keen interest in architecture, building and real estate. In 1983, he graduated from Construction Engineering, a program specializing in project management. It proved to be a valuable introduction to real estate. After studying finance, John began purchasing properties, renovating and re-selling them in his hometown, Edmonton. During this time, he also project managed for numerous prominent development companies and founded several development and construction companies of his own.
In 1990, John moved to Vancouver from Edmonton to competitive sail, a lifelong passion of his. In 2001, he sailed around Vancouver Island in the Van Isle 360 Sailing Race. John continued to purchase and renovate properties throughout Vancouver before deciding to use his knowledge by becoming a realtor. He is familiar with and has lived in many different locations across the Lower Mainland. In addition, he has an extensive network of connections: legal, appraisal, mortgage broker, insurance, movers and trades people available to make your purchase or sale a fulfilling experience.
