Call me direct at (831) 596-8485. According to the Multiple Listing Service data, there were 6 new listings in October in Aptos. 5 properties closed escrow with an average list price vs. average sale price of $880,200 to $799,300.
Santa Cruz Association of Realtors statistics for the month of October in all of Santa Cruz County are: inventory of 860, with 178 new and 174 sold. The number of homes sold is up about 21% from October 2008. Average price is $569,362 and Median is $515,000, which is up about 15% from January of 2009.
The inventory is lowering, and prices are rising. There is a lot of competition out there right now, with many multiple offers. Rates are still low which is great for buyers right now. The First time homebuyer tax credit has been extended until April of 2010. The median home price has steadily risen since April of this year and is still currently on the rise.
The condominium statistics for Santa Cruz County for the month of October are: inventory of 234, with 50 new and 24 sold. The number of condos sold is down about 15% from September 2009. The median home price for the month of October was $347,500, which is up about 12% from the median condominium price of September 2009.
