BREAKING NEWS: Homebuyer tax credit extended and expanded House hunters - first-timers and some veteran homeowners - now have until April 30, 2010, to enter into a contract to receive the credit after President Obama signed the bill to extend the credit. Read on for more details about who qualifies. Tax Credit for 1st time homebuyers has been extended through June 2010!! For the first time, the tax credit program would also enable (NON) First Time homeowners who buy a new primary residence to receive a $6,500 refund. Under the bill, first-time home buyers would receive the $8,000 tax credit if they sign a contract by April 30 and close on it by June 30. The plan would also make those who buy a new primary residence eligible for the $6,500 credit if they owned their current home for at least five consecutive years in the previous eight years. The measure limits the purchase price of the home to $800,000. It also imposes income caps so that people who make more than $125,000 annually and couples who make more than $225,000 would not be eligible for the program. All Manufactured Home financing is going away for at least the foreseeable future. If you have a deal in progress and it's a manufactured home, please call your loan agent. It might not be able to be closed as of this week. New Anti "Spinning" Rule will stop any non owner purchase if the property was previously purchased by an investor in the last 90 days. Many lenders are extending the rule to 180 days. This started last week and is not going away anytime soon. November 2009 BizBuySell's Third Quarter Data Signals Improving Business-for-Sale Market BizBuySell.com's quarter-over-quarter data also supports the rebound in the business-for-sale marketplace. The number of closed transactions reported in the third quarter increased by 7.4% as compared to second quarter transactions.
