The Fall Outlook 2008 market, and Sales Statistics for August,2008:
There were 15 closed sales of single family homes in August. The median price was $1,880,000 (off -2.3%, compared to August 2007). Currently, there are 128 homes for sale ranging in price from about $950,000. (Brentwood Glen) to $65Mil (a Mandeville Canyon luxury estate on about 112 acres).

Condominiums/townhouses: In August (2008) there were 10 sales with the median price of $732,000 (up +1.6%). Currently, there are 82 condos/townhouse for sale ranging in price from 359,000 for a studio to $2,250,000 for a large, new Mediterranean Style Townhouse on Sunset Blvd. These dramatic Spanish Colonial Revival townhouses are new construction, 3 Bedroom/3.5 baths plus family rooms, with private 2 car direct access garages. Square footage ranges from 3,100-3,500 SF. Priced from $2.2Mil to about $2.5Mil.
