Location Characteristics: Carlsbad is a city of four neighborhoods. To the north West, on the Pacific is "old Carlsbad and expanded to the East by new subdivisions. Downtown Carlsbad has Restaurants, Shops, Sidewalk Dining,Cafes, a few night clubs. A State Park runs along much of the shoreline in South Carlsbad, with acess to some of Southern Californias best beaches. Carlsbad also has Buena Vista Lagoon to the North side of Downtown and Agua Hedionda Lagoon to the South. Many of the homes have ocean views and in the middle of Carlsbad, is the airport, on Palomar Airport road where you can also view the "Flower Fields' in early Spring.
