Home Prices RISE again in AUGUST!
Last month marked the 5th straight month of rising prices! Inventory levels are at incredibly LOW levels. At $700K or less there are only 3-4 months supply. At $500K or less the levels are less than 2-3 months. A normal market has 5-6 months.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY ACTIVITY The Countywide median price of homes sold INCREASED AGAIN from $372,000 in July to $375,000 in August.
DETACHED HOMES North San Diego County SFD median prices INCREASED 5.68 percent, from July 2009 to August 2009, from $440,000 to $465,000.
Detached home prices OUTSIDE North County wasUNCHANGED from July 2009 at $335,000.
ATTACHED HOMES
North San Diego County monthly median SFA home prices during August 2009 INCREASED by 12.34%, from $235,000 a month earlier to $264,000.
Non-North County attached home prices INCREASED 1.07% in August 2009; from $203,000 to $206,000.
Median days-on-market for single-family detached homes in North County INCREASED from 34 days in August 2009 to 39 days.
