Although the trend beginning in March, 2009 seems to be toward a stabilization in prices, we continue to see the foreclosure market impacting all statistics. Foreclosed properties are often selling at prices slightly higher than the list price on average.
However, non-distressed properties are seeing good showing activity with little actual buying action. Inventory is down significantly from last year and 2007, as well.
We are seeing glimpses of economic improvement, but I would not call it recovery just yet.
