There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel. Keeping in mind that all real estate markets are local Colorado seems to be turning the corner. Inventory in the area is finally dropping. Not stagering by any means, but certainly a good sign. With prices relatively stable it is a great time to be looking. For the first home buyer the market is as good as it has been in years. If you are contemplating a move up it really comes down to doing the math. If you are looking at a 10% loss on your current home, of say $200,000 and you can get a ten% discount on the $300,000 or $400,000 dream home the net will be heavily in your favor. Remember real estate wealth is created by buying in the valleys not at the peaks.
