Monument is a wonderful area with a mountain feel. The Tri-Lakes area has custom and semi-custom homes, some with spectacular views of the mountains, giving a feeling of being worlds away. Conveniently located off the I 25 corridor, and near the Air Force Academy, these homes are a haven for people working in Colorado Springs, or Denver. Homes in this area are generally in the $300k to over $ 2 million dollar price range. There are many diverse areas with some that are high density planned communities, to Woodmoor with .5 acre lots, and many other neighborhoods with 2.5 acres or more. Located in award winning Lewis Palmer School District #38, this is a very desireable location. Homes that are priced fairly, are selling in a reasonable amount of time, and close to their asking price.
This market is improving for buyers here as inventory increases. It remains a great time to buy as interest rates are very low and appreciation rates have not soared yet, as they have in California and the east coast.
All in all it is a great time to relocate to this spectacular area!
