The Caribbean coast currently has some excellent opportunities for investment, as it is rainier and has less infrastructure development.

However, this area continues to offer long term opportunities for appreciation.

While it does not have the dramatic close ocean views of areas on the west coast such as Dominical, there are some beach properties for sale near national parks.

A nice Carribean beach home near a park and coral reefs may be found for $100,000 to $150,000 for 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with beautiful tropical hardwood styling throughout.

There continue to be one and two-million dollar estate homes with acreage and houses in this area.

Please visit http://Costa-Rica-Land-For-Sale.com for personal accounts of the buying experience in Costa Rica, and see http://www.campingincostarica.com for a place to stay on the west side near Dominical for only $35/night.

You may also visit http://www.BuyerAgentSearch.com for information on buyer agents and brokers who can serve you in many parts of the world. Feel free to call direct for a personal consultation: 303-670-0246. --Kathleen

Approximate Location Boundaries: The entire Caribbean coastline of Costa Rica, and inland to the Central Valley

Location Characteristics: The Caribbean region is being developed less rapidly than other areas due to the more constant rainfall in this region. There is more of a year-round rainey season in this area, but there are lush forrests and nice coastal communities.

The culture of the Caribbean coastline makes this area most diverse. You can also expect a large variety of wildlife from parrots and toucans to monkeys and reptiles. Of course, this coastline area boasts a unique and wonderous sea life, including life only found near a reef.

Investment opportunities abound here, as the area has historically not been as popular as the more heavily-populated and less-rainy west coast.
