I don't know if this is the bottom yet here, but it seems pretty close! I can hear the scraping on the floor...The inventory here is FINALLY starting to get absorbed at a much higher rate than we have seen in some time. In fact, a recent US News & World Report article now says the Naples area is UNDERVALUED by over 30%!
The deals we are seeing now are incredible. And, for those sellers who really need to sell, concessions are huge.
Yet, the market still has a huge supply of inventory, so that will maintain softer prices, for sure. Compare Southwest Florida to your weather up north and there is no contest! Great summers, great beaches, great winters, great golf courses -- what more could you want?
Since prices are down to 2002 prices in many cases, now is a great time to buy, so call us today!
ZIP Codes: 34134, 34135 Approximate Location Boundaries: The Gulf Coast Beaches along Hickory Blvd.
Location Characteristics: Sugar sand beaches, wild sea oats swaying in the breeze, sun and fun all year long -- these are the things Bonita Beach is famous for...(and Doc's silver dollar hamburgers, too!).
About Carol Wilsey:
I moved to Southwest Florida like almost everyone else, to escape the brutal winters up north, but once I experienced the wonderful breezes and abundance of great golf courses, my husband and I knew we would stay here forever! I have been in real estate here for almost the entire time, and started my own brokerage firm over 7 years ago. I now have a solid marketing team of agents behind me. My husband and I also own a mortgage company to assist our agents and other buyers in financing their dreams in Southwest Florida. I was the Professional Standards Chair for the Naples Board of Realtors, and an ethics instructor for the state as well. My husband and I are avid golfers at the Club at Olde Cypress.
