The local real estate market continues to show signs of leveling off. Prices in our area are off by as much as 50% from the high's of 2005.In fact anyone that's bought a house in our area within the last 2 years and possibly 3 years owes more than the property is currently worth…. Property that's priced right is selling and sellers are starting to realize that they need to be realistic about price in this market…..The International Airport continues to set new records for passengers which is always a good sign….The fundamentals for our area are no different now than they where in 2005. The only thing that's changed are our prices which now represent a much better value than they did a few years ago. So if you are selling up North and getting less money than you would have done a few years ago because of the real estate market the same also applies here.
