Here it is, almost November, and the lovely Florida weather continues to draw visitors to this wonderful bit of Paradise. The market in Vero Beach is booming and we think the bottom of the market has come...and maybe even gone, at least here. Sellers beware: don't think that your home price will be back to 2005 or 2006 rates in the next year or two. If the market follows the trends laid out by economists, property values will inch upward allowing for only minimal to moderate increases. The prection in today's paper was that you won't see those 2006 prices again until AT LEAST 2028. So waiting to sell means you'll be in tht house a mighty long time! It also means great bargains for buyers. If it was priced right, it sold. If it's still over priced for it's condition or location, as compared to the whole, well, it's probably still sitting there, unsold.Get realistic on your asking price. Don't base it on old numbers. For buyers..."Come on down"...and Get a Florida Life! You may have already missed the very rock-bottom in certain communities, but there's still plenty of opportunity to get a lovely home or condo at a lovely price! But come SOON. The inventory of available homes is dwindling and some of what's still out here isn't all that it might seem in the photos. Call me and let me help you work through the maze. Fining a good home that truly suits you won't be as easy as it was a fe months ago, without the help of an experienced agent.. Contact me and give me specifics about what you're looking for. I'll send you a link to information on those types of properties that are currently available...at no obligation. No strings attached. My opinion is that the while the prices have trended downward, the market is leveling off because the inventory is dropping and what's left may not be as desirable for many. Still, you CAN get what you want here...homes and condos are available and priced to sell. If you can't find it here, you won't find it anywhere! Come to Vero Beach....and Get a Florida Life. www.GetaFloridaLife.com The market here is so "fluid" that there are daily changes of significance. If you'd like specifics, please contact me directly at 772-231-1234 and I'll be happy to discuss the current real estate market conditions with you at no obligation.
