Dreams do come true. Living on Maui became one of my dreams after visiting Maui year after year. After making the decision, I was going to fulfill that dream, I made a list of everything I needed to accomplish. I first put my business and my husband's business on the market since I felt these would take the longest to sell. To my surprise my business sold right away and I found myself unemployed since I had agreed to a no-compete clause. I immediately put our commercial and rental properties on the market. One by one our properties sold and it was time to put our Colorado home on the market. Since the path to my dream was unfolding more quickly than expected, we made our last vacation trip to Maui. This time instead of coming home with souveneirs, we came home with a Maui home in escrow. Once our Maui home closed it was time to make the big move. Everything was completed like clockwork-even getting the dogs prepared for quarantine. I knew what I wanted and made it happen.
