Interesting Stats: Did you know our real estate sales prices didn't CRASH? Our worst year, 2008 saw the worst decline (11.5% from 2007). But from peak to valley we only lost 13.75%. Did you know 2010 home prices were essentially the same as sale prices in 2001? We are about 2.8% higher than 2001. Average selling prices in Vermilion County were relatively stable 2008 through 2010? We are only $373 behind 2008 and 2.1% ahead of 2009.
