It is a great time to be a buyer due to low interest rates and truly motivated sellers. Sellers are taking pains to prepare their homes for market, knowing that competition is keen. Thirty year fixed mortgages are literally under 5% and lenders are eager to lend money. It's not that bad a time to be a seller either. Our market has limited inventory, so when buyers find a fairly priced property in good condition and that they like, many are ready to buy now and make the most of the opportunity.
