The housing market is on fire for us now. We sold 40 homes in August and closed 33 in September. The $8,000 buyer incentive has helped get first time buyers into the market which has helped all other price ranges as well. We are now seeing a shortage of good quality listings that should be out on the market and are not. Rates are holding at 5% and under so it has never been a better time to buy. If you are trying to take advantage of the $8,000 buyer credit you need to be very proactive now. We have heard rumors that the credit will be extended but at this point there are no guarantees.
