You can buy a great house if you can get financing! There are homes in town or in the country. There is a wide range of housing available from fixer uppers to comfortable bungalows & modest ranches to exceptional custom homes & estates. Right now, there is an interesting variety of properties to choose from in almost every price range. There are more higher end properties available now than ever before. This is the best variety that I can remember in my 29 year career. Education is important in Pittsburg. Renovation and new construction at the schools is exciting! Real estate sales were awesome in 2006, good in 2007,and better in 2008. I've got some really great listings in 2009. It was difficult to mark the trends above because it changes for different price ranges. This is a good time to buy or sell. It is a good time to buy because of the variety of houses on the market and interest rates are low. If you are a first time homebuyer, be sure to check on the $8,000 tax credit. If you have lived in your home for at least 5 years, there's a $6,500 tax credit available. And the dates to use this have been extended into 2010. Please call me if you would like more information. Don't be the person who says, "Darn, I should have bought a house and took advantage of that tax credit!" If you would like to see some of my listings, please click below "visit my website". Please call me for all of your real estate needs. If you would like a list of houses in your price range, feel free to call my cell phone.-- Sandy-620-249-4841 or email me sandy@jimbishop.com.
