Going into the last quarter of the year, interest rates are fantastic now and it is a GREAT time to buy. Our market has been slow over the last year. However, we are no where even remotely depressed as other parts of the country. We have seen a larger number of foreclosures in all price ranges. But, our market has remained consistent with small amounts of appreciation in some areas and small amounts of depreciation in others, but no big jumps in either direction. Currently, we have a strong buyer's market and it is a great time to buy. Activity did pick up in showings of homes over the last three months, but has declined in the last 2 weeks.
