Shelburne is a delightful little New England village, sitting happily on the banks of the Androscoggin River, and surrounded by beautiful mountain views. Shelburne is only minutes to Mt. Washington, and wonderful outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and skiing are all available . There was one sale in Shelburne in June. It sits in the the valley on the banks of the Androscoggin River with lovely mountain views all around, The Appalachian Mountain Trail passes right through. There are charming bed and breakfast establishments, a motel, and a delightful, historic country inn for a tranquil rest . Gorham is only minutes away, with many motel rooms and stores, and quite a few restaurants.
