Close-in, established neighborhoods continue to see higher demand than the more outlying areas throughout the Portland metro area and are experiencing lower depreciation rates. Appreciation rates are calculated for a 12 month period and are tabulated by RMLS, our regions multiple listing service. The average sales price for August was $278,100 down from Julys $280,500. Year to date average sale price was $290,800 and the median sales price came in at $255,000. The average time it took to market a home in NE Portland was 76 days.
