As information, we continue to receive a lot of inquiries regarding fees being charged for loan modifications. Both Treasury and HUD continue to caution us concerning this. (Please see item 9 in the Q&A's.)
And the numbers ... I love the numbers ... The average sale price in Greater Portland Metro Area is $303K - a 13% decrease in the average sale price compared with the end of January 2008. There was also a 32.5% decrease in the number of closed sales. And, even though the number of new listings decreased by 15%, at the current rate of sales it will take aprx 19.2 months to sell the home presently listed. Buyers market
