There has never been a better time to sell or purchase a home. Because of record low interest rates and the Federal Government tax credit for first time home buyers, we have been experiencing an increase in activity in the last several months as well as a decrease in inventory. With the extension of the tax credit to first time home buyers and now a credit being extended to current home owners as well, I expect the trend in activity to continue through the winter into the spring and summer markets. Location Characteristics: This area is considered mostly suburban with some semi-rural areas. Most of the residential areas would be described as neighborhoods, but some areas have more wide open spaces. There is a great deal of new or newer construction in this area due largely to the influx of major drug companies to the area within the last 10-15 years. We are minutes from route 422, the PA Turnpike, Routes 202 and 76. King of Prussia, known for it's high tech businesses and expansive shopping malls is also minutes away via route 422.
