Chamberlain boosts itself to the PWT and the world renown Walleye Fishing offered here. From early spring to late fall, a boat or shore fisher is always to be spotted along the Francis Case Reservoir.
Chamberlain is the area's Pheasant Hunting Capital with Motels/Private Homes/Hunting Lodges filling to capacity during the opening and subsequent weeks through-out the pheasant hunting season.
Chamberlain is abundant with tales of history due primarily to it's location on the Missouri River and it's close proximity to the Native American Indian Reservations. Settlers/steamboats & river travelers are all part of Chamberlain's history and more recently the discovery of a young settler women whose remains were recently interned in an area cemetary.

A native of Chamberlain, S.D., Jeannine services the Chamberlain community and surrounding Brule and Lyman county areas.
