We began February 2012 with fewer homes available on the market, down 43% to 96 homes available. 33 homes sold in January, an increase over last year of 74%. Total revenue through January up 83% $8,307,651. WOW!!! Average homes sales price up 6% to $251,747 and median price down 14% at $210,250. Average days on the market at 59 days, down 27%.
2011 showed an increase in homes sold, total revenue for home sales. 443 homes sold in 2011, an increase of 5% over the previous year with total revenue up 5% to $110,178,973. The average home sales price was unchanged at $248,711, the median home sales price was down slightly (3%) at $228,900. The average number of days on the market for sold homes was 71 days, an increase of 6%. January began with 166 homes available on the market, a 17% decrease over previous January.

In 2008, homes sold at higher average sales price of $247,593, up 3% over previous year, with more average days on the market (51) days up 13%. In 2008 , 486 homes sold, down 16% The total dollar volume for 2008 was $120,330,198, down 13%.
570 homes were sold in 2007, a decrease of 14% over the same period in 2006. The average sales price of $240,200, an increase of 5%. The total dollar volume spend in Grapevine on residential real estate in 2007 was $136,914,000.
