We are already in 4th quarter of 2009. We began November with 154 homes on the market, down slighty (6%) with average # of days on the market of 56, up 14%. Year to Date through October, 337 homes sold, down 24% with the average sales price up 3% to $256,570. The total dollar volume through October is down 21% to $86,464,090. I wish there was better news to report.

In 2008, homes sold at higher average sales price of $247,593, up 3% over previous year, with more average days on the market (51) days up 13%. In 2008 , 486 homes sold, down 16% The total dollar volume for 2008 was $120,330,198, down 13%.

570 homes were sold in 2007, a decrease of 14% over the same period in 2006. The average sales price of $240,200, an increase of 5%. The total dollar volume spend in Grapevine on residential real estate in 2007 was $136,914,000. The best indicator of the market is Average Days on the Market; the DOM was 45 days, up 5% from 2006. With existing homes and new construction, the choice of homes available will delight new buyers. Come grow with us!!
